Although most of my work falls into the rodeo category of event work, in the last few years, getting to switch it up for a weekend and go hang out with the cutting and cow-horse crew has been a ton of fun. This may be one of the most intense shooting times required from me in 4 days, but I always have a ton of fun. It is hard not to get mesmerized when capturing these events by just the sheer skill and determination of these horses.
One piece that really caught me this year is that with only seeing them one time a year, I truly get to see how people grow and develop their skills in that time. Everyone who competes at these shows should be proud of the sometimes what may seem small but also major achievements that you have made!
After needing a bit of recharge time, I am still working on finishing some of the photos. So bear with me, I will get more added to the gallery as soon as I can. I will also be setting up the all-access special package paperwork later today for those who are interested in quite a few photos.
Thank you to the NARCHC for having me out once again to capture all of these memories for you all and for everyone who checked in on me throughout the event.
