The Wainwright Stampede is a great time. This was my 3rd time at the Stampede and it still was such a treat to participate in. Check out the images in the gallery below. A few highlights from the event for me include:

• Seeing almost all the timed event contestants together – with the 2 head competition, all the Steer Wrestlers, Tie Down Ropers and Team Ropers together for the 1st round is pretty neat
• The school kids coming out and filling up the grandstand, cheering on the cowboys during slack.
• They also had some great weather this year for the stampede, which translated into some neat photo opportunities.
