I had heard so much about the Tisdale rodeo from the CCA members but had never been to it. For those who know me from Alberta, that may seem normal as it may seem like a long way away. But Tisdale is probably the closest regular-season rodeo to where I grew up since the Humboldt Sizzler stopped having a rodeo. This year it fit into the schedule to attend, and the trip allowed me to stop through the farm for a quick visit with my family and see some people I hadn’t seen since high school.

The rodeo in itself had a great mixture of association competitors and local talent. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Tisdale for this event and getting to quickly catch up with so many people I have gotten to know throughout the years.
