After a busy previous weekend with the High School crew, I thought it would be nice to meet up with the Pros during the season kick-off. Making the trip up to Dawson Creek, BC, with Brenda Vold was even more fun than I thought it would be — getting to chat about rodeo and some of its history.

On Friday, we also played tourist for a bit and browsed threw Dawson Creek’s downtown while we waited to head down to the arena for the 1st Performance. A few artists throughout the years have put in a lot of work on murals around town. Getting to see new and old friends once again, this girl’s 1st trip to BC has plenty of memories from it that will not soon be forgotten.
